Tambo Citizens - Supporting Horatio's Garden and Mind

At Tambo, we believe that the core values of our business are incredibly important. They define who we are and how we should behave. One of our core values is ‘Citizen’ - treating others as you would want to be treated yourself, considerate to the needs of others and always offering support. Guided by our values, we have decided to support charities that provide wonderful services to the community, through multiple fundraising activities throughout the year.

As a team, we have chosen to partner with Horatio’s Garden and Mind.

Horatio’s Garden creates and nurtures beautiful gardens in NHS spinal injury centres to support everyone affected by spinal injury. Horatio’s Garden grows thriving communities to support patients facing long stays in NHS hospitals.

Mind provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding so that everyone with a mental health problem gets support and respect.

For our first fundraising initiative, two (very brave) Tambo team members have taken on the challenge to run the Amsterdam Marathon on behalf of Horatio’s Garden! Angus, our marketplace analyst guru and Soph, our advertising master, have been training day and night in preparation.
