Amazon's New Growth Dashboard for Sellers
Amazon’s latest enhancement to Seller Central - the Interactive Canvas Experience - turns months‑old data into a live, conversational workspace where sellers can see their business, question it, and act on it in real time.
Built on Amazon’s agentic AI architecture and powered by Amazon Bedrock, the canvas assembles a dynamic, visual dashboard that brings together performance data, customer insights, and recommended actions tailored to each seller’s unique business conditions. Previously, sellers had to manually stitch together reports, this new layer lets them generate a personalized canvas.
The real power lies in the canvas’s flexibility and responsiveness. Sellers can drill into sales performance, inventory levels, or traffic trends, then ask follow‑up questions or request different views, and the workspace instantly rearranges itself with new charts, metrics, and recommendations. For example, a sudden spike in demand for one product can trigger not only a highlighted alert but also concrete suggestions on how to allocate inventory or adjust pricing to maximize revenue while minimizing storage fees and stockouts. Marketers can query how their campaigns are performing and receive multiple forward‑looking strategies, each with projected outcomes and tradeoffs, while conversational “what‑if” adjustments - such as reducing spend or focusing on excess stock - update the plan in real time.
Currently available at no extra cost to sellers in the U.S. and U.K., Amazon plans to roll the canvas out to more countries and languages later this year, signaling a deeper commitment to giving SME's the same kind of AI‑driven decision‑making tools once reserved for large vendors.
