The Role
Due to rapid growth and an influx of new clients, we are looking for a Marketplace Manager to lead some of our key client accounts. You will be responsible for strategy development and the day-to-day management of multiple high-profile clients, primarily on Amazon. You will also be managing content projects, working directly with our designers and copy writers.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Tambo, contributing innovative ideas and expertise at a key stage in our development.
Skills & Experience Required
We are looking for passionate and skilled candidates who understand the evolving e-commerce landscape. You should be confident in translating data into actionable insights and possess a strategic mindset. Experience in both agency and national account management will be considered.
Essential
2+ years Amazon Marketplace experience (Brand or Agency side)
2+ years managing Amazon content projects (directly or working with agencies)
2+ years experiencing managing projects
Strong client management skills
Excellent written English and attention to detail
Proficient in analytical tools (Excel, Google Analytics)
Strong commercial acumen
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated accountability for client/account targets
Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities
Effective planning, prioritisation, and time-management skills
Experience with e-commerce content preparation
Familiarity with Amazon analytics tools like Helium 10 and Keepa
Preferred
People management skills
1 Yr + Amazon Advertising Experience
Experience with other marketplaces such as eBay, Allegro, Walmart, TikTok
Consultative selling / upselling / expanding client scope
Key Responsibilities
As a valued member of the Tambo family, your expertise, insights, and passion will drive success for our clients and contribute to our ongoing growth. You will:
Own client relationships, deliverables, and daily operations
Own end to end content briefs, working with designers and copywriters
Develop, manage, and optimise advertising strategies and campaigns
Analyse account performance and market behaviour using proprietary and third-party tools
Develop and implement strategic workplans and commercial reviews
Monitor account performance and provide operational support
Produce and present insightful performance reports and reviews
Lead, mentor, and support team members and clients
Collaborate internally to negotiate and plan project deliverables
Serve as an industry expert for Amazon and marketplaces
Support broader business initiatives
