Reporting directly to the Managing Partner, you'll guide team members to drive growth across client accounts. Tambo is a the GlobalMarketplace Services Platform that helps brands grow their sales on Amazon and other marketplaces whether they are starting out, looking to expand or simply optimising their current listing to drive performance. We offer a broad range of strategic, optimisation, management and advertising services in the UK and around the world.


Skills & experience required

Any candidate needs to have 5 year’s experience in Amazon Account Management with a mixture of both Vendor and Seller. You also need to have developed successful Amazon Advertising Strategies within previous roles. You will have proven success in delivering growth, and be equally happy analysing data as presenting to clients. You will also need to be a visionary, developing a strategy for embedding best practices and building efficiencies within your team.


More specifically:

  • A strong commercial mindset

  • 5+ years of experience building Amazon Advertising Strategies

  • 5+ years of experience with Amazon Vendor and Seller

  • 2 Yrs People Management Experience

  • Experience at leading a team and mentoring direct reports

  • Excellent at building and developing relationships with clients in order to gain mutual trust

  • Ability to analyse numerical data and identify reasonable and rational conclusions, and convert these into logical strategies to take advantage of the opportunities identified

  • A problem solver who can find solutions to the challenges posed when working with Amazon

  • Driven to find opportunities for clients to grow their Amazon business

  • A team player, who will get stuck in with whatever is needed for our business to grow

  • A desire to continually learn and get better at what you do, inside and outside work

  • A team leader, providing mentorship and a dedication to the continued development of staff members

  • Entrepreneurial attitude, with a passion for running a business unit as if it was your own

  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or sufficient equivalent experience.


Responsibilities

  • Lead on relationships with strategic client partners

  • Nurture and empower your team to deliver a best in class service for our client partners, and foster a sense of community and togetherness within your team

  • Support in the creation and delivery of training materials for both internal and external development needs

  • Support in the roll out and company wide adoption of Tambo initiatives i.e. Tambo Tech

  • Monitor client contract expiration dates and propose / agree renewals with an emphasis on an expanded scope and remit

  • Business Development- identify opportunities to optimise client's Amazon performance and present a business case

  • New business – represent Tambo in new business opportunities and develop proposals and consultative selling within the key accounts / accounts that you are leading

  • Client Management - lead client business and activate client JBP's with Amazon

  • Oversee the execution of client promotion & merchandising plans

  • Conduct a commercial review of client account and make recommendations on pricing and fulfilment options

  • Deliver optimisation plans through the support of Tambo's analytics team

  • Prepare client reports to highlight performance and identify account improvements

  • Oversee daily operations of Seller Central, Vendor Central and AMS campaigns for clients

  • Represent Tambo’s values within the business (Champion, Courage, Citizen and child)

  • Attend and speak at Marketplace events

Working with us

We are a flexible employer. We want you to work where you are happiest; that way you will have the energy and commitment to make Tambo a success. Our London team get together once a week (mandatory) and out of London team come down at various frequencies depending on their location.


We work in the same office at least once a week and meet up once a month for social occasions. Everyone is encouraged and given the flexibility to pursue other interests.
