The Role

After an influx of new clients, we are looking for a Senior Amazon Marketplace Manager based in Germany to lead on some of our key clients. Reporting to an Associate Director, you will be responsible for strategy development and management of the day-to-day operations for multiple clients on primarily the Amazon marketplace.

You will be an integral part of the team, bringing new ideas and expertise that helps build Tambo at a key stage in our development. Working closely with our team in the UK, you’ll be sharing accounts and ideas to drive the best results.


Skills & Experience required

We are looking for passionate and skilled candidates with 2+ years’ experience with Amazon Seller/ Vendor Central and some Amazon Advertising (AMS). You should be data led and confident in translating data into clearly communicated insights and appropriate actions. Both agency or National Account management backgrounds will be considered. You should have proven success with developing and delivering strategic growth plans, possess excellent communication/ presentation skills and commercial acumen. People management experience would also be beneficial.


Essential:

  • Fluent in German and English

  • 2 years Amazon Marketplace experience (brand or agency side)

  • Strong client management skills

  • Excellent written English and attention to detail

  • Proficient in analytical tools (Excel, Google Analytics)

  • Strong commercial acumen

  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrated accountability for client/account targets

  • Strategic thinking and decision-making abilities

  • Effective planning, prioritisation, and time-management skills

  • Experience with e-commerce content preparation

  • Familiarity with Amazon analytics tools like Helium 10 and Keepa


Preferred:

  • People management skills

  • Experience with other marketplaces such as ebay, Allegro, Walmart, TikTok

Responsibilities will include:

  • Owning client relationships, deliverables, and daily operations

  • Analysing account performance , market behaviours on Amazon using proprietary and third-party tools and optimising accounts

  • Developing and implementing workplans, action plans, and commercial reviews

  • Monitoring account performance and providing operational support

  • Responsibility of performance for advertising strategies, managing campaigns

  • Producing and presenting insight led reports and performance review documentation

  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting team members / clients

  • Collaborating internally to negotiate and plan project deliverables

  • Serving as an industry expert for Amazon and marketplaces

  • Supporting broader business initiatives
