Tambo Compass and AMC
Tambo Compass is the only 360 Amazon intelligence tool designed by Amazon experts. Across a series of user-friendly Retail, Advertising, AMC and Category dashboards, Tambo Compass gives our clients easy to understand, actionable insights.
We are currently extending our Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) reporting capabilities. Amazon Marketing Cloud is a secure, privacy-safe and cloud-based clean room solution allowing advertisers to perform analytics across their amazon DSP and AMS activity.
The Role
We are looking for a technically minded data analyst to bolster our technology team, developing the Tambo Compass platform. Your initial remit will be focused on using Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) to provide detailed insight into our client’s marketing funnel. You will be using AMC’s IQL, Amazon provided playbooks, develop your own queries, and work on advanced data pipelines and models. You will understand the types of first party data sources many of our clients may have their disposal and can manage their addition to AMC. You’ll be able to visualise and present your conclusions and recommendations to clients.
You will be an integral part of our fast growing team, bringing new ideas and expertise that at a key stage in our development. We are seeking a habitual high achiever, with a history of learning rapidly and growing their value to the team. This role offers the opportunity to further develop your data analysis skills, ad-tech and data science knowledge, or transition into a product management role.
Skills & Experience required
We are looking for dedicated and driven candidates with a passion for technology and a diligent approach to analysing client data. You should have an appetite to work with and grow the world’s leading brands and emerging data technologies.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience analysing marketing or ecommerce data
Experience managing or analysing paid advertising campaigns
Experience writing data queries in Data Warehouse environments.
Experience with data visualisation using (eg. Tableau, PowerBI, Seaborn, etc).
Analytical skills and strong computer literacy
Willingness and ability to learn new systems
Confidence in communicating/reporting to both internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrable ability to think on your feet and make decisions
Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills
Preferred
Experience working with Amazon Sponsored Ads, DSP, or AMC.
Experience using programming languages for analytical tasks (eg. Python, R, Jupyter)
Experience with Tableau
Excellent statistical skills
Good knowledge of ML algorithms
Experience with data modelling, processing and optimization.
Experience with data build and orchestration tools (eg. DBT, Airflow)

Responsibilities will include:
Analysing client data and generating actionable insight.
Creating generic and reusable data models and queries.
Advising clients and internal stakeholders on data models such as attribution and LTV models.
Advising internal stakeholders on requirements for advertising campaigns to support efficient data analysis.
Develop queries AMC and other Redshift based warehouse solutions.
Develop advanced data models and pipelines.
