Tambo is a new Marketplace Solutions Provider that helps brands and retailers grow their sales on Amazon and other marketplaces, whether they are starting out, looking to expand or simply optimising their current listing to drive performance. We offer a broad range of strategic, optimisation, management and advertising services in the UK and globally.

Data and Technology is at the heart of our business. Our proprietary tool, Tambo Compass, transforms category, brand and consumer data collected from marketplaces into actionable insights that drive growth for business on amazon and other marketplaces.

Tambo Compass is already widely adopted across our client base, but we now want to dramatically extend into new verticals and new markets around the world.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager with a proven business development background who can help us find new customers in new markets.

Reporting into the Managing Partner, this person will work alongside our Marketing Manager to manage our outreach programme, capture and qualify leads, build relationships and on-board new customers to this pioneering technology.

Responsibilities

  • Own relationships with new customers in order to successfully build and maintain a sales pipeline.

  • Manage the sales development process from start to finish - finding, nurturing and winning new clients

  • Deeply understand the Tambo Compass value proposition, and effectively articulate that value to our clients

  • Own a strategic client development plan in partnership with key internal stakeholders that is built on the adoption of Tambo Compass

  • Respond to inbound RFPs, RFIs, and proactively develop custom ideas and solutions

  • Capture client feedback on business alignment and usability of Tambo Compass, organising feedback and collaborating with product management to drive scalable changes through to completion

  • Conduct live demonstrations of Tambo Compass (internal and external)

  • Support the development of the communications strategy and outreach campaign to find and engage our target audience

Basic Qualifications

  • 3-4 Years experience in e-commerce sales

  • Experience building new customer relationships and B2B sales

  • Business development experience connecting with Senior Managers in B2B organisations

  • Extensive experience delivering results in a sales role at a digital ad tech company

Preferred Qualification

  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently to negotiate at Senior Management level in an organisation.

  • Strong analytical abilities and confidence using data to inform decisions and strategies

  • Proven track record of effecting customer impact quickly and effectively

  • Previous experience working in digital marketing and/or e-commerce industry

  • Comfort in ambiguity and willingness to creatively help shape the expansion of this role

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to effectively prioritise

  • Strong track record of high level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
