We are delighted to announce a collaboration with the British Brands Group, a membership organisation dedicated to championing brands in the UK. Tambo brings comprehensive eCommerce marketplace expertise to the collaboration, which has already delivered a tailored training initiative held on 26 February titled ‘How to trade with Amazon’, giving the Group’s members the practical skills required to operate effectively on the Amazon platform.
The collaboration with the British Brands Group has been established to share Tambo’s valuable insights in light of evolving sector trends and consumer behaviour. The Group’s members include leading brand manufacturers of all sizes, from multinationals to SMEs, operating across sectors including food, drink, household, toiletries, pharmaceuticals and DIY. The first workshop was developed specifically in response to members’ requests for eCommerce training and tailored to their needs.
John Noble, Director of the British Brands Group commented, “The Group has a specific workstream on eCommerce to ensure it is an effective and efficient channel for branded products to reach consumers. Amazon is of course key to that and specific skills are required to operate optimally. Tambo had the knowledge and experience we were looking for and put together an excellent introductory programme which was highly rated by members. It is an example of the unique value the Group brings to its members. We now look forward to building on this collaboration with ongoing shared initiatives including an advanced workshop planned for September 2019.”
Paul Adams, Tambo CEO said, “It speaks volumes that our alliance with British Brands Group has already resulted in a bespoke training session delivering tangible skills to delegates. Tambo’s Amazon marketing expertise delivers results for our clients including BBC Worldwide, Coca-Cola, Lily’s Kitchen, John Frieda and Bioré. We combine technology and talent to help brands and retailers grow their sales and navigate the Amazon marketplace challenge.”
Quote from workshop participant, “Tambo’s expertise shone through and the way you’d constructed the course worked really well. Our participants found it extremely valuable and you contributed to our skills development with a strong foundation. We’re looking forward to the next workshop session and some more advanced training.”
British Brands Group members include leading brand manufacturers of all sizes, who gain access to a forum in which to discuss issues affecting brands. The Group’s objective is to ensure that the UK is a great place to create, build and sustain brands, building understanding of the powerful contribution that brands make to so many aspects of our lives.
